About Varshini

I achieved all A stars in both my GCSEs and my A Levels and am incredibly passionate about teaching and the subjects I took at a higher level. Having been well exposed to the challenging material that children are not exposed to in subjects like English and History, I can say with full confidence that the correct guidance is of the utmost importance.

About the lesson

Tasks like poetry comparison and source analysis can be tricky for some students but certain exam techniques can be taught to help those who struggle. I have helped other younger students to tackle such obstacles and am confident I can help with any type of exam preparation in these subjects spanning from primary school work to A Level.
When it comes to younger students or students whose second language is English I find going over the basics in the first few lessons is the most helpful. On the other hand, for older students, practice, exam models and a thorough breakdown of their work often helps best.
My rate is 14 pounds/hour.

Varshini has a vast knowledge of humanities as a subject, as her classmate I know her great grasp of subject knowledge as not only does she excel in English but also other writing-based subjects like History, RS and Latin. She is always happy to help and willing to share incredibly useful revision tips!
