About Jasveen
I'm Jazz, a Malaysian tutor based in Kuala Lumpur. I did my SPM here, with A+ in English and BM and A in Biology and History, then studied in London, where I earned my law degree (LLB Hons) at the University of Westminster.
Before teaching full time, I spent eight years at a Kuala Lumpur law firm as a legal secretary and then a paralegal. That work trained me to read closely, write precisely and explain complicated things in plain language, and I bring the same skills into every lesson.
I've been tutoring English, BM, Sejarah and Biology since 2011, alongside work and study, and have taught full time since 2024. What I enjoy most is the moment a student who was stuck starts to get it, whether that's a shy child speaking up in class or an adult walking confidently into an interview.

Every student starts in a different place, so my first lesson is about finding out where you are and what you need: a better grade, more confidence speaking, or help with a subject that isn't clicking.
For English, I focus on real use. With adults, that means speaking practice, workplace English, emails and interviews. With school students, it means reading, writing and the exam skills that lift marks.
For Law, I take students through cases and statutes step by step, then practise applying them to problem questions and essays. I mark written work and give clear feedback on structure and reasoning.
For BM, Biology and History up to SPM, I explain the content simply, then build exam technique with past-year questions.
Lessons are patient, practical and paced to the student. I teach online or in person in the Klang Valley, seven days a week.

know Jasveen from my time as her student, where she helped me tackle some incredibly challenging law coursework over the last year.
What I appreciate most about her teaching style is her adaptable patience. She never just hands over the answers or rushes through the material. Instead, she breaks down complex concepts into intuitive, bite-sized pieces and constantly adjusts her methods to match the way I learn best.
A standout experience we shared was right before my final exams when I was completely overwhelmed by the material. Jasveen went out of her way to sit down with me and visually map out the entire syllabus into a manageable, step-by-step study plan. That single session turned my anxiety into confidence and completely shifted my momentum. I highly recommend Jasveen to any future students, she is a genuinely dedicated Superprof who is deeply invested in your success.View more recommendations
