About Adenike
My name is Adenike, and I am passionate about helping people unlock their potential through English. With over 11 years of teaching experience and a Master’s degree in Education, I have had the privilege of supporting learners from diverse backgrounds, ages, and abilities. I chose to teach because I believe education changes lives. English is not just a subject, it’s a gateway to opportunities, whether in school, career, or travel. My greatest joy as a tutor is watching my students grow in confidence and achieve goals they once thought were out of reach. As a professional educator, I bring patience, creativity, and dedication into every lesson. My approach to tutoring is student-centred and personalised. I believe every learner is different, so I adapt each lesson to your goals, level, and learning style. My teaching combines clear explanations with practical, interactive activities that make English engaging and easy to apply in real life.
I use a mix of conversation practice, grammar and vocabulary building, guided reading and writing tasks, and real-life scenarios. I also integrate games, digital tools, and personalised feedback to keep lessons fun, motivating, and effective.
A typical session lasts 60 minutes, but I can adjust to suit your schedule and learning needs. Each lesson is structured, yet flexible enough to respond to your progress.
I hold a Master’s degree in Education and have over 11 years of teaching experience supporting learners of all ages and abilities, including those with diverse learning needs. I am trained in inclusive education, literacy support, phonics and digital learning tools.
