I am a Ph.D. Student in Music Education. I hold a Bachelor of Education, Bachelor of Arts degree and a
Certificate in Writing. I have been teaching for over 20 years and my students have been excepted to university programs across Canada.

I take a student-centered constructivist approach to teaching that allows students to build on their current knowledge and skills. I believe that this approach best supports students in the tutoring setting because the student is given an opportunity to direct their own learning.
