I prefer to do a needs analyses on where my students are at and then adapt the curriculum accordingly. I work by scaffolding and interaction, teaching, testing for understanding and teaching. (Praxis) Early in my career I discovered that I had the ability to teach Reading successfully. Being able to read with understanding is of the utmost importance. This forms the basis for all subjects.
