I believe in a lesson that is fun, engaging, and applicable for students in their day to day lives. Being able to read and write begins with early skills like letter recognition, phonemic and phonological awareness, etc. I like to use a blend of games, visuals, and incorporate movement into activities to keep kids engaged and promote their retention of information learned.
My lessons are geared toward children in the range of Kindergarten-2nd grade at any reading level.
