About Sarah

From a young age, I’ve always loved school—the excitement of learning, the joy of discovery, and the sense of belonging it brought me. That positive experience inspired me to become a teacher, with the hope of creating the same encouraging, engaging environment for my own students. I believe every person deserves to feel confident and supported in their learning journey, just as I was.

About the lesson

Qualified Primary School Teacher with a B.Ed (International Honors Degree with French), specializing in language learning and private tuition for learners of all ages – available both online and in person. Experienced in supporting students with SEN (Special Educational Needs), EAL (English as an Additional Language), and diverse learning profiles. Utilizes multisensory strategies and Universal Design for Learning (UDL) approaches to create inclusive, engaging learning environments. Applies creative and differentiated methodologies, incorporating music, drama, and assistive technology to enhance learning. Trained in holistic, multisensory spelling and grammar programs such as Jolly Phonics, Read Write Inc., and Toe by Toe. I generally offer lessons ranging from 30 to 60 minutes in length; however, this can be tailored to suit the individual learner’s needs.

Both of our children have studied with Sarah over the past three years and they absolutely adore her! Sarah is the most incredible teacher we have ever met! She recognises the "problem" and weaves it playfully into the session so the children are learning at ease. I personally have learnt so much myself from witnessing her way of teaching so I can apply it to when we are doing the homework which is very helpful.
Sarah is incredibly patient, loving and yet firm at the same time. We hope to use her support for many more years to come!
