About Sufia

As a dedicated and approachable tutor and fluent Farsi speaker, I’m passionate about supporting young learners during their most important early years of education. I'm currently a Year 12 student at East Doncaster Secondary College, hold a Certificate III in Business, and have real-world experience in professional environments—including my roles at Target and as a Junior Legal Administrator with North East Link. My tutoring approach is friendly, patient, and highly tailored to each child’s individual needs. I use engaging techniques such as visual learning tools, games, repetition, and encouragement to make learning fun and effective. I believe that confidence is key in the early stages of education, and I work to create a safe, supportive space where students feel comfortable to ask questions and make mistakes as part of their learning journey. Lessons typically run for 30 minutes to 1.5 hours and are suited for students in Prep to Year 3 (ages 5–9). I have experience helping my younger cousins with their homework in literacy and numeracy, which has helped me develop strong communication skills and an understanding of how to keep young students focused, motivated, and excited to learn. As someone who is responsible, organized, and enthusiastic about education, I’m committed to delivering lessons that not only help students improve but also inspire a love of learning that lasts.

About the lesson

My tutoring style is patient, engaging, and tailored to suit each child's individual learning needs. I focus on building strong foundational skills in literacy and numeracy through fun, interactive methods such as visual aids, games, repetition, and positive reinforcement. I aim to create a comfortable and encouraging environment where young learners feel confident to ask questions and explore new concepts at their own pace.

My lessons typically run for 30 minutes to 1.5 hours, depending on the student's age, attention span, and the goals for each session. I ensure each session is structured yet flexible, allowing time for both focused learning and fun educational activities.

I have experience helping my younger cousins (Prep and Year 2) with their homework, and this has given me a strong understanding of how to communicate effectively with young children and support their learning in a clear, relatable way.

My lessons are designed for primary students from Prep to Year 3 (ages 5–9), and I work best with children who need extra support in early learning or just a little boost in confidence.
