About Franklin

Hi, my name is Franklin. I am currently studying TEFL at BYU and I am passionate about helping students improve their English. I enjoy making lessons clear, simple, and fun so that learning feels easy and rewarding. I can teach in English [and any other language you know], and I adapt my lessons to each student’s level. I like to start by understanding what the student already knows, then guide them step by step through new ideas, answering questions along the way. My lessons are great for beginners or anyone who wants to gain confidence and improve their English skills. I am patient, friendly, and committed to helping students learn and grow.

About the lesson

I believe that students learn in their own different ways, so my lessons are adjusted to fit everybody. I like to keep things clear and easy to understand, breaking down work into small steps so it is less stressful. My aim is to help students feel more confident, not just to get through the work.
I can teach in English, Afrikaans, other subjects on request and I always try to explain things in a way that makes sense to the student.
In a normal lesson, we start by checking what the student already knows. Then I explain new ideas slowly with examples, and we practice together until it makes sense. I like students to ask questions, and I make sure they leave the lesson understanding more than when they came.
My lessons are for anyone who wants to learn from Primary to High-School. Whether someone is struggling or just wants to improve, I give support step by step.

What makes me different is that I am patient, I explain things simply, and I care about helping students improve a little more each time.
