About Essence

Welcome to my tutoring page! My name is Essence Williams and I am a Sophomore at Saint Louis University. I first started tutoring around thirteen years old. I am an extremely successful student in school; aside from English tutoring, I play the violin and take French! I love teaching, and look forward to helping students achieve their goals!

About the lesson

I am here as a resource for students to thrive and succeed. I know the structures of all of the AP Language and Composition essays. By developing a specific learning plan for each student, it will be much easier to achieve goals. In addition to working with high schoolers, I also enjoy working with younger students (ages 5-9) on reading skills!

Review

All of our reviews are collected by us and are 100% reliable. They correspond to real lessons experienced by the students of Essence.

Essence has been tutoring me for 2 years now and she is absolutely amazing! Every time I leave my lesson I feel like I’ve learned something new! Also her approach to test taking really helped me a lot! Essence is very calm and patient. She takes the time to help students really understand the content.
