About Raeesa
I am a dedicated and experienced primary school teacher with a strong passion for education and learner development. I currently teach Grade 4, 5, 6, and 7 learners and have a deep understanding of the challenges they face in English and Afrikaans First Additional Language. My background in classroom teaching, combined with my academic focus on digital leadership in education, allows me to approach teaching in a structured, modern, and learner-centered way that supports both academic growth and confidence building.
I am passionate about teaching because I believe every learner has the potential to succeed when given the right support, guidance, and strategies. I am especially motivated to help struggling learners overcome barriers, improve their understanding, and achieve better results in assessments. Teaching allows me to make a meaningful impact by not only improving academic performance but also by building confidence, independence, and a love for learning in my students.

I am a qualified and experienced Grade 6–7 teacher offering structured English and Afrikaans First Additional Language support designed to improve learner performance, confidence, and exam results. My lessons are carefully planned and aligned with CAPS assessment standards, focusing not only on content understanding but on teaching learners how to answer questions correctly for marks. I specialize in helping learners strengthen comprehension, writing skills, and test-taking strategies, ensuring they develop the skills needed to succeed in formal assessments.
Each lesson is goal-driven and includes a clear learning plan, targeted practice, and exam-focused strategies to improve results over time. I provide detailed feedback after sessions to guide both learners and parents on progress and areas for improvement, ensuring continuous development. My approach is especially effective for learners who are struggling or need structured academic support, as I track progress consistently and focus on building both academic skills and learner confidence in a supportive, results-oriented environment.
