About Maureen

Experienced private tutor with many years of FE, Adult and community education teaching. I specialise in ESOL, EFL, GCSE English Language and Literature support, study skills, Year 5 and upwards English, A level English Language, spelling, grammar, creative writing, report and essay writing, too. I also teach various types of dance, art history, as well as specific cultural dance history. Lessons are student centred and tailor made on request.

About the lesson

I enjoy teaching this subject and have been able to help students raise their grades, skills and confidence. I have student centred classes tied to the school's curriculum, and also offer specific tailor made lessons such as creative writing and inference skills.

Omar puts in a 1000% in his work . He has improved in terms of planning his ideas, drafting and writing the answers. He listens and takes on board what he can do to improve his grade.
