About Anna

I am a graduate of London Contemporary Dance School, and have trained professionally in ballet since I was 7. I have performed and trained in Canada and the Netherlands, and have experience in the Cecchetti, Vaganova, RAD and Bournonville techniques. I am a guest teacher at Aoi Ballet Academy, Hiroshima, Japan. I have taught private ballet classes to children, as well as worked as a TA.

About the lesson

I am available to teach ballet classes to all experience levels, from complete beginners who are curious about ballet, to vocational dance students looking to prepare for auditions. I can also teach pointe work, and can choreograph solos. My classes generally last an hour and fifteen minutes, including barre and centre work, where we can work on basic principles and introduce you to ballet, or help develop your skills and push you to the next level, one on one. We will work safely, and the class will be catered to your skills and goals. Dance has been a part of me for my entire life, and I love to share the joy I have from it with my students. I am very happy to teach in your home, but unfortunately I will have to ask you to cover the travel costs.
