About Molly

With a professional background in developmental education and private care, I offer more than just academic help. I offer reliability, care, and success in all categories of health and academics. My legitimacy as a tutor is built on years of managing high-pressure environments where safety and clear communication are mandatory.

Whether I am guiding a preschooler through their first milestones or helping a student understand and excel academically, my approach remains calm and professional. I understand that learning can be stressful, which is why I remain focused and attentive in every session.

About the lesson

My teaching goals consist of efficacy, consistency, and mastery. I don't believe in straight memorization. I prefer to focus on logic, breaking down assignments or theories into more understandable information.

For each session, I follow a clear schedule to ensure all time is used efficiently. I start by determining the student's current mental state, upcoming deadlines, and to-do lists. As we go, I update our shared spreadsheet or list to prioritize that day's goals. We work through the most challenging task, and conclude by summarizing what was learned and setting small goals for the coming week.

What sets me apart is my ability to balance organization with empathy. I've worked as a counselor, caregiver, and tutor for hundreds of families and am therefore uniquely equipped to handle the emotions that may accompany difficult topics. While other tutors focus solely on the grade, I focus on the student's executive function. I build spreadsheets and systems that teach them not just to pass a test, but how to manage their entire academic life easily and calmly.

My lessons are designed for students who need more engagement than only a lecture. Early learners (ages 4-7) can benefit from literacy and numeracy. On top of that, I can help middle and high school students master subjects such as psychology, health, or social studies, as well as those who need help with their study habits. In addition, as I have applied to many schools and now go to Brandeis University, I can help students structure their college application essays and final papers.

I provide parents with a Monthly Report, a quick summary of what was covered and where the student is improving.
