About Lesley

I have worked with children and young people for 20 years and worked as a qualified teacher for 13 years. As a primary teacher, I have worked with children with varying learning styles and needs and I am adept at adjusting my approach to suit the needs of my learners. For the past 3 years, I have been teaching in private education internationally and with the pandemic, I had to curate and deliver personalised programmes of learning for children with learning diversities. I enjoyed the challenge of making sure my lessons were engaging and fun so that my students looked forward to our next session.
As a creative, I sometimes incorporate dramatic and musical elements into my teaching style however, I am careful only to do so when appropriate. I love teaching and learning and anything I can do to ensure my students see themselves as very capable learners, I will do.
