About Marilyn
I’m Marilyn, an ESL teacher and reading tutor with a bachelor’s degree in education. I’ve been teaching since 2018 and specialize in early literacy using the Orton-Gillingham approach, as well as ESL instruction for children and adults. I’m bilingual-friendly and teach in English and Spanish, use American Sign Language (ASL), and understand some Korean. I’m known for my calm, patient, and supportive teaching style, and I personalize every lesson to help students feel confident and successful.
