About Haneefa
I am a recent graduate from the University of the Western Cape. I completed my Bacherlor's in Education with a specialisation in Foundation Phase (Gr R-3). I have a 420 hour TEFL certificate from i-to-i Tefl Academy. I aso have a vocational certificate in Early Childhood Development.
The only teaching experience I have come from my teaching practices for my qualifications which would sum up to a year of practical teaching experience.
I am passionate about language teaching! I use native resources like articles, reports and broadcasts in my lessons. I also allocate time in my lessons for revision and practice. I aim to provide tailor-made lessons that can help my students achieve their language learning goals.

I am a native English speaker and at a proficient level with Afrikaans. I like to use native resources in my lessons and will work with you to curate lessons that are relevant to what you need to know and do.
I focus a lot on speaking and listening for conversation and I am able to tutor in English Home Language, English First Additional Language and Afrikaans First Additional Language for Gr R-12.
Upper-beginner to lower-advanced are the levels I'm most comfortable with teaching but all levels are welcome in my classes!
