About Jasmine
I'm born and raised in Hong Kong, but I've always had a love for books so I went to study English literature and creative writing in the UK. I also love to travel, and I've found that teaching allowed me to meet many different kinds of people and helped me make an impact to an individual's life anywhere around the world, leading me to teach in India, Namibia, mainland China, and Indonesia.

I've taught from 5-year-olds to teenagers to adults, and have experience both with following a curriculum and setting my own. My classes have ranged from upwards of 40 students or one-on-one, so there is a lot of fluidity based on the individual student's needs.
I love making classes interactive for any age, whether that be through games, music, theatre, or just lively discussions. My passion for history, books, art, culture, and travel means that subject matters in classes can be very varied and engaging, and classes are casual and comfortable.
I either build targeted lesson plans for students or they decide what they need help with, such as homework or projects. I work together with students to identify their specific goals and concerns, and we have an open discussion on how to move on from there to help them build confidence.
