About the lesson

My teaching method would be student-centered, recognizing the diverse needs of learners, especially those in special education and ESL contexts. I would incorporate multisensory instruction, blending visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning opportunities to ensure concepts are accessible to all students, regardless of their learning style or language proficiency.

In addition, I'd use differentiated instruction to cater to individual student needs, scaffolding lessons to build on each learner’s strengths and address their challenges. Given your background, incorporating strategies from your experience with the Texas educational system and Region 20 resources could enrich the lessons.

A Typical Lesson Plan:
A typical lesson plan would begin with an assessment of prior knowledge to activate students' existing understanding.
