About Emma
As a special education teacher, my job is to help students find a way to learn that works for them. I have worked with students both with and without IEPs to help them grow and discover a love of learning. Helping students to find their lightbulb moment is a joy like no other. No matter what area you need help with, I am excited to help you along your learning path.

Tutoring lessons are tailed to each specific student. Finding both their strengths and areas of need. Lessons will help students to learn what strategies work best for them to help achieve their goals. For reading a structured literacy approach will be used to help students learn the rules of phonics and language skills to be able to answer reading comprehension questions. For math a strong understanding of number sense and the relationships between math concepts will help students apply knowledge and answer problems.
