About Molly
In May 2022, I will be graduating Gettysburg College with a double major in English and Spanish and double minor in Educational Studies and Peace and Justice Studies. I work in a bilingual program at the Center for Public Service, and currently lead ESL nutrition classes for adults. I also have worked several years supervising tutoring and activities through an afterschool program for Latin American students K-5, and have worked as an ELA TA both during the summer and weekends of the school year. My TEFL certification is 150 hour advanced, and focused on both in person and online language learning, so I am versed in both.

I find that specifically within the field of ESL, it is important for students to feel that they are learning something relevant to them. My lesson planning focuses on real-life scenarios and using students' individual interests to build around. I find cross-cultural learning and social-emotional approaches very important, and I use this in my work. I am open to work with any grade/age.
