About James
I'm a mature and well travelled airline and travel industry professional with a keen interest in helping students to communicate confidently in English.
During my extensive career I have assisted and mentored many colleagues and friends all around the world in developing their English language fluency and technical accuracy. Vocabulary, grammar, and fluency in written and spoken English are key to using the language confidently, particularly in a business environment.
I hold a Level 5 TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) diploma from The TEFL Academy with an additional on-line specialist qualification. This diploma helps me to bring additional structure and technique to my tutoring skills gained over the years, but the lessons will always be friendly and conversational. I aim to hear the students speaking far more than I do!
I'm looking forward to meeting all of you new and interesting people!

My approach is to use conversation, spoken or written, as the platform for development of confidence and fluency when using English as a second language for business, general conversation, or education.
I bring a focus to my students' unique expectations and requirements. After discussing these unique needs we map a path together toward acheiving the desired outcomes.
My platform is real time news and events, entertainment topics, business communication, or anything that students anticipate discussing in an English speaking environment. I focus largely on young to mature adults from beginner to proficient.
