About Barry
I have taught English as a foreign language to beginner and advanced students. I also lectured design at University level for almost four years.
While Online teaching is relatively new to me, I have taught many students in person and have experience in grading tests and moderating work.

I like to focus on conversational language. Depending on the level of the student, I provide vocabulary lists, focus on constructing sentences in class, and leave time for free conversation, often with specific topics in mind.
I believe it is important for a student to be able to use a language effectively instead of just learning by the book, which is why conversation is a big part of my lessons.
Should the student wish to improve their writing skills, I assign writing tasks, such as weekly diary entries. I evaluate and give feedback on the student's writing in order to help improve their written communication skills.

Details
The first lesson is an introductory 30 minute lesson for free. After that I charge $30 (USD) per lesson.
