Hello, I’m Teacher Qi. I teach early learners using bilingual and trilingual support (English–BM–Mandarin) to reduce confusion and build confidence. Hi, I’m Teacher Qi—a UCSI Early Childhood Education student and kindergarten assistant. I help young children build strong foundations in English, BM, Mandarin, Mathematics, and Science. My approach & techniques Calm, structured, and playful: phonics and vocabulary games for languages; manipulatives and number stories for math; simple inquiry for science. I use visuals, songs, movement, and bilingual explanations (EN–BM–Mandarin). Each class follows a steady routine: warm-up → quick review → model (“I do, we do, you do”) → guided practice → short game/application → mini reflection. Brief, targeted homework only when helpful. Parents receive short progress notes. Typical lesson length 1 hour or 1.5 hours —ideal for young attention spans. Includes micro-breaks and movement to keep focus high. Qualifications & experience UCSI Early Childhood Education student (current). Kindergarten assistant with daily phonics, early reading, numeracy, and play-based support. Home tutoring experience with preschool and lower-primary learners, including shy or very active children. Who my lessons are for Ages 4–9 (preschool to Year 3).
