About Kaela
I am a pre-medical student majoring in Neuroscience, with a passion for written language. I peer tutored in high school for two years, helping my friends earn 5s on their AP Language and AP Literature exams. And have a year of experience tutoring in college for members of underrepresented communities, as well as the children of healthcare workers.

I am currently pursuing a B.S. in neuroscience at UCLA and have always loved both academic and creative writing. I am currently in a journal club that focuses on writing papers about health disparities. I am open to tutoring anyone from ages 10 to 20. My teaching method is wholistic and personal to the student I am working with. Everyone has different learning styles and interest, and I take this into account when designing lesson plans, essay topics, and reading assignments. I encourage creativity and open expression
