About Joan

I am a keen student and I have always enjoyed academics. What's better than learning is teaching what you know and enlightening others! I've taught violin as well as sailing which demonstrates my love for teaching beyond academic studies. I want to make learning something that students don't dread, but enjoy and look forward to. I think that my teaching style can help!

About the lesson

I can teach English but I also have a qualification of teaching English as a foreign language. Because of this, I have a range of experiences and I am able to personalise lessons based on the capabilities of each individual. I will ask students to inform me of their strong areas along with weak areas. The lessons will focus on these weak areas. Repetitive good practice will ensure that my students are ready for their exams and understand their courses better.
