About Ashlee

I’m Ashlee, an experienced tutor passionate about helping K–6 students improve their reading and writing skills. With a year of classroom experience as a reading assistant, I combine patience, creativity, and structured guidance to make learning effective and enjoyable. I focus on building confidence, understanding each student’s unique needs, and fostering a love of learning in a supportive, professional environment.

About the lesson

As a tutor, I focus on interactive and student-centered learning. I break down reading and writing concepts into manageable steps, using exercises, discussions, and real-life examples to reinforce understanding. A typical lesson begins with a quick review of previous material, followed by guided practice, hands-on activities, and a summary with feedback to ensure comprehension. I adapt lessons to each student’s skill level, whether they are struggling beginners or more advanced learners. What sets me apart is my patience, creativity, and ability to make learning engaging and confidence-building. My lessons are ideal for K–6 students, helping them develop strong literacy skills while fostering a love of learning.
