About Kumaresan

Hello! I'm an experienced Accounting and Finance educator with over 20 years of combined teaching and industry experience. Throughout my career, I have been committed to helping students develop a strong understanding of accounting principles while building the confidence needed to succeed academically and professionally.

I have taught a wide range of students, from SPM, STPM, Cambridge AS & A Level, LCCI, and CAT candidates to diploma and degree students in Accounting, Finance, and Business. In addition, I have served as a Part-time Lecturer at Open University Malaysia (OUM) and Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology (TAR UMT), where I conducted lectures, tutorials, and examination preparation classes.

About the lesson

My lessons are structured yet interactive, combining theory with practical application to ensure students fully understand the concepts rather than simply memorizing them.
1. Assessing each student's current level of understanding before commencing lessons.
2. Explaining concepts using simple, real-life business and accounting examples.
3. Teaching step-by-step problem-solving techniques and examination strategies.
4. Encouraging students to ask questions and participate actively during lessons.
5. Providing guided exercises followed by independent practice to reinforce learning.
6. Reviewing common mistakes and offering personalized feedback for continuous improvement.
7. Conducting regular revision sessions and mock examinations to monitor progress and improve exam readiness.
