About John Marc
I am an Inclusive Education Teacher with four years of experience in a classroom setting. Additionally, I have six years of experience providing one-to-one teaching and tutoring to children aged 5 to 12. I am highly skilled in developing personalised session plans based on each learner’s Individualised Education Plan (IEP), abilities, learning needs, and educational goals. I am passionate about creating supportive, engaging, and inclusive learning experiences that help every learner reach their full potential.

My English lessons are personalised according to each learner’s age, ability, learning needs, and individual goals. I provide one-to-one lessons for students from Kindergarten to College level, with activities and teaching approaches adapted to suit each learner.
For younger learners, lessons are interactive, visual, and engaging. I use age-appropriate activities to develop phonics, vocabulary, letter and word recognition, reading comprehension, speaking, listening, and early writing skills.
For primary and secondary students, lessons may focus on grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, spelling, sentence construction, creative writing, speaking, school assignments, homework support, and preparation for assessments or examinations.
For older students and College-level learners, lessons can include advanced grammar, academic writing, essay structure, reading comprehension, vocabulary development, speaking confidence, presentation skills, and support with written assignments.
My teaching approach is patient, structured, and learner-centred. I prepare lessons based on the learner’s current ability and gradually build their skills and confidence. Where appropriate, I also use visual supports, step-by-step instructions, repetition, practical examples, and differentiated activities to make learning easier to understand.
A typical lesson lasts between 1 and 1.5 hours, depending on the learner’s needs and concentration level. My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where students can improve their English skills at their own pace while becoming more confident and independent learners.
