About Joseph
I am passionate about teaching and sharing my knowledge of music with others. I have 18+ years of experience teaching including working as a teaching artist for Wingspan Arts, Brooklyn Music Factory, John Lennon Educational Tour Bus Foundation (started by Yoko Ono), etc. I’ve been teaching privately in Brooklyn for the past 8 years. I am also a touring drummer and a studio musician/producer. I offer lessons at my studio in PLG or I can come to you! Zoom/Skype/FaceTime lessons also offered. I also teach Piano (beginner-intermediate), Guitar (beginner-intermediate).

I teach all ages and all skill levels. All styles including rock/pop, jazz, soul, funk, blues, roots drumming (African and Latin), etc. Rudiments, marching, reading, concert band prep for grade school students, drum set technique, independence, how to develop your own sound, etc.
