About Harini

Hello! I'm an experienced educator, former education startup cofounder, and international communication instructor.

I hold a BA in History from the University of British Columbia, Canada, and an LLB from the University of Birmingham, UK.

Over the past several years, I've worked across education, research, and professional communication. As the cofounder of an education venture, I conducted seminars and webinars on international higher education, developed educational programs, and led a team of eight.

I've also taught English and communication skills in Japan, worked with schoolchildren and adult learners, and currently teach public speaking and communication to international students.

My experience presenting to audiences, leading teams, and teaching across cultures has shaped my practical, encouraging approach to communication coaching.

I particularly enjoy helping quieter students find their voice and more confident speakers develop clarity, structure, and impact.

I believe public speaking isn't just about delivering speeches. It's about learning to express yourself effectively in everyday life.

My Teaching Approach

I believe confident communication is a skill anyone can develop with the right guidance, encouragement, and practice. My lessons are interactive, practical, and tailored to each student's personality, age, and goals.

How My Lessons Work

I begin by understanding your communication strengths, challenges, and objectives. Lessons typically include:

- Engaging speaking exercises and interactive activities
- Roleplays based on everyday situations
- Storytelling, presentations, and structured speaking practice
- Vocabulary development, voice modulation, and effective expression
- Constructive feedback and techniques for building confidence

For younger students, I incorporate games, storytelling, and age-appropriate activities to make speaking enjoyable. For teenagers, I focus on self-expression, presentations, interviews, and developing clear arguments.

For adults and working professionals, lessons can cover workplace communication, assertiveness, presentations, meetings, and professional interactions.

Who I Teach

I work with children, teenagers, university students, and working professionals. Whether you're nervous about speaking in front of others or want to become a more polished communicator, my lessons are designed to help you express yourself clearly and confidently.

My goal is to help you develop practical communication skills that you can use beyond the classroom.
