About Fumika

My mother being a Yogini in Japan since 1978, a Yogic lifestyle has always been a part of me. I then moved to India, where I deepened my practice for 6 years. I have been always open to different styles and have experienced various schools of yoga and meditation. However main styles I follow are traditional Sivananda Yoga and my mum's Yoga combined with Buddhist / zen teachings. My aim is to constantly improve myself and pursue the yogic path adapted to each stage of my life. Having completed internationally recognized 300-hour certified Yoga Instructor training course at Sivananda Yoga Ashram in 2018, I am happy to be able to share with people the beautiful moments to nourish mind and body.

About the lesson

Teachings based on Sivananda Hatha Yoga Classes are adapted to capacity and needs Focus on breathing and relaxation Yoga is not a competition with others but is a method to experience physical and spritual development within ourselves Regular practice (class at least once a week) is recommended
