About Isabelle

I am in my final year of university (graduating late 2026), having studied music (performance) for three years and have A-levels in music technology. I have always had a passion for music, loving bands like Foo Fighters and Queens of the Stone Age.

About the lesson

My techniques when it comes to teaching is to make sure lessons are as fun as they can be. I find students learn more when they are enjoying it; I will make sure the boring stuff (rudiments, etc) are made into a game, which is more engaging to students. As for length of lessons, I will be giving online lessons via Zoom in 30-minute or hour long slots (£15 for 30 minutes. £30 for an hour). I have experience with different age ranges - I have taught peers at university (who have never played drums before and are now playing rock songs), and over summer 2025, I did the Camp America programme, where I taught drums to teenagers (12-17 year olds) for three months. Some teenagers had never touched drums before and by the end, they were performing on stage in front of the whole camp (roughly 250 people).
