About Louie

Hi! My name is Louie. I am a Music student at the Federal University of Ceará and I work as a violinist in various chamber music groups in the city, a music educator, and a violin and music theory teacher. I teach students from 12 years old and up (no upper age limit). I create personalized lesson plans for each student, aiming for optimal development according to individual needs, as well as autonomy in study and performance.

About the lesson

My lessons cover the basics of instrument initiation (whether violin or viola). I use basic methods to develop posture, hand form, and tuning in a firm and precise manner, always respecting the limits and possibilities of the student's body and mind. I also teach advanced lessons, using specific methods to work on: tuning, fingering, right hand technique, and repertoire. The first lesson is free, and I offer a level test (for those who have already had some contact with the instrument) to develop a long-term teaching plan.
