I’m a professional jazz drummer who discovered my love for jazz at a young age. Over the past 20+ years, I’ve dedicated myself to studying and mastering this craft. Along the way, I've developed a deep passion for helping others unlock their full potential and elevate their playing. I firmly believe that patience is the key to teaching. Everyone learns at their own pace, and as a teacher, it’s essential to acknowledge and embrace this. When teaching beginning piano, the focus is on building fundamental skills that lay the foundation for all future music learning. It’s crucial for every musician, regardless of their instrument, to have a basic understanding of the piano. As a professional jazz drummer, I’m well-versed in a wide range of musical styles—Reggae, Latin, Rock, R&B, and more. If I can hear it, I can play it. I’d love to learn more about your musical goals.
