About Akil

I am a passionate and patient drum teacher who loves helping children discover the joy of music. I believe learning drums should be fun, confidence-building, and encouraging. I have experience teaching beginners and young learners, including children with special needs, and I adapt my teaching style to suit each child’s personality and pace. My goal is to create a safe, positive learning environment where students feel supported and parents feel confident in their child’s musical journey.

About the lesson

My drum lessons are fun, engaging, and designed to help children enjoy learning music while developing strong rhythm and coordination. I create a safe, positive, and encouraging environment where kids feel comfortable expressing themselves. Lessons are carefully adapted to each child’s age, attention span, and learning needs, including children with special needs, helping parents feel confident about their child’s progress and growth.

I highly recommend Akil as a drum teacher to anyone who wants to learn drums. My daughter has been his student since 2023, and I see so much improvement in her drum playing. I really appreciate his patience, positivity and ability to make lessons fun. He’s absolutely dedicated to his students and encourages them to play songs which they like and are comfortable with.
There are very few teachers who get down to a child’s level and teach them accordingly.
Truly grateful for Akil’s guidance and If anyone’s looking for an amazing drum teacher….Akil is the person to pick.
