Experienced Yoruba Language Tutor — Children, Teenagers & Adults
Hello! My name is Akeem, and I am a Yoruba language tutor from Nigeria.
I teach Yoruba to children, teenagers and adults who want to learn how to understand, speak, read and write Yoruba with confidence.
My lessons are especially suitable for beginners, children growing up in English-speaking homes, Nigerians living abroad, adults reconnecting with their Yoruba heritage, and anyone interested in learning the Yoruba language and culture.
I believe learning a language should be practical and enjoyable. Rather than simply memorizing vocabulary, my lessons help students understand how Yoruba is actually used in everyday situations.

My Teaching Approach

For adults, I focus strongly on practical communication and situations they are likely to encounter in everyday life.
Online lessons can be conducted through Zoom, making it possible for students anywhere in the world to learn Yoruba from the comfort of their homes.
I also offer in-person lessons in Lagos by arrangement.
