Max has been teaching me drums for just under a year now. He is incredibly supportive and nurtures my musical interests, helps me set realistic goals, and has ensured I have strong technical foundations to be able to play freely and comfortably. I really feel I know what to practice in order to progress each week, but Max also ensures to explain why each thing is useful. Our lessons are always engaging, and there is a great balance of fun and focus!

Max has been a great teacher to me. He is patient, concise and kind. My playing has improved significantly as he creates routined, but fun, exercises to focus on specific flaws in my playing. He is methodical, yet a personable teacher.
