About Paige

I am the founder of Empowered Education based in Mirfield, where I provide flexible in-person and online tutoring tailored for unique learners aged 3 to adult.

I hold a BA (Hons) in Special Educational Needs, Disabilities and Inclusion, along with professional qualifications including the Award in Education and Training, a Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement, and Level 3 Safeguarding.

My journey in education is built on deep hands-on experience, having worked as a SENCo, within SEND pastoral support, and as a specialist SEND tutor. Because of this background, I understand that traditional educational paths don't work for everyone.

I want to teach because I am deeply passionate about creating a safe, patient, and neuro-affirming space where children, teens, and adults can truly thrive without the pressure of a rigid school system.

Whether a student has a formal diagnosis or simply processes the world a little differently, my goal is to strip away the anxiety of learning, build genuine confidence, and empower every individual to unlock their own unique potential.

Based in Mirfield and offering flexible in-person and online sessions, we specialise in helping students build real confidence without the pressure.

Whether you need support with primary English and maths, building practical functional skills and independence, or developing executive functioning and memory strategies, we adapt to every unique learner. We also offer specialised support with assistive tech, touch-typing, and alternative communication approaches.

I honestly can't recommend Paige enough! Finding the right tutor for a child with special needs can be so stressful, but she has been an absolute game-changer for our son.
