About Michael

Native Igbo speaker from Enugu, currently studying at a US university on a global rotation in Buenos Aires. I have taught Igbo to students across different backgrounds and made them sound natural
I taught some students at FGC Enugu, so I know how to break the language down for someone starting from zero.

About the lesson

Igbo is tonal, which intimidates most beginners. I teach it the way I learned it, through real conversation, not grammar rules, so by the end of our first session you will understand why the tones work, not just how to memorize them. That includes the pronunciation and cultural context that textbooks skip entirely.
