About Belinda

Hello and welcome! My name is Belinda, and I am an enthusiastic and dedicated educator with a Bachelor of Education degree in Intermediate Phase Teaching and a Higher Certificate in Early Childhood Care and Education. I have classroom teaching experience at primary school level, teaching English, Social Sciences and Creative Arts to learners in Grades 5–7.

As a teacher, I believe every learner has the potential to succeed when given the right guidance, encouragement and support. I strive to create a positive, patient and welcoming learning environment where learners feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and learning at their own pace.

My classroom experience has helped me develop skills in lesson planning, assessment, classroom management and adapting teaching methods to meet different learning needs. I understand that learners have different strengths and challenges, and I aim to make every lesson meaningful, practical and engaging.

I am passionate about helping learners build confidence, strengthen their understanding and develop the skills they need to achieve their academic goals. I look forward to supporting you on your learning journey and celebrating your progress every step of the way!

About the lesson

I am a qualified B.Ed Intermediate Phase educator offering personalised, engaging and CAPS-aligned tutoring for learners in Grades 4–7. I specialise in English and Social Sciences, helping learners improve their understanding, confidence, study skills and academic performance.

My teaching approach is patient, supportive and learner-centred. I adapt each lesson to the learner’s individual needs, learning pace and areas of difficulty. I use clear explanations, practical examples, guided activities, revision exercises and questions to help learners understand concepts rather than simply memorise information.

A typical lesson begins with a short assessment of the learner’s existing knowledge, followed by an explanation of the topic, guided practice and independent activities. We finish by reviewing what has been learnt and identifying areas that need further attention.

I am proficient in English and Setswana and can support learners using these languages where appropriate. My lessons are suitable for primary school learners who need extra support, homework assistance, test and examination preparation, or additional academic enrichment.

My goal is to create a comfortable learning environment where every learner feels encouraged to ask questions, make progress and reach their full potential.
