About Nicholas
Hi, I'm Nicholas! I help kids and teens go from nervous to confident in the water.
I've been swimming for 8 years. I work with everyone from complete beginners who won't put their face in the water yet to confident swimmers polishing their strokes.
In my lessons, your child's safety always comes first, then their confidence, then their technique. I'm patient and calm in the pool, I never rush a nervous swimmer, and every lesson ends with a win, however small.
Outside the pool, I'm a mobile app developer, and I bring the same professionalism to teaching: every lesson is planned, I show up on time, and you'll always know how your child is progressing.
I'd love to help your child become a safe, confident swimmer.

Learning to swim should feel like play, not pressure. My lessons get kids comfortable and safe in the water first, then turn that confidence into proper technique.
We start at your child's pace with the basics: breathing and blowing bubbles, floating, gliding and kicking. From there we build up to freestyle, backstroke and breaststroke. I break every skill into small, achievable steps and mix in games and mini-challenges, so kids stay engaged and actually look forward to the next lesson. Water safety is built into every session too, from floating on their back to treading water and knowing what to do if they ever fall in.
Each lesson is 1 hour: a warm-up, one or two skills to focus on, guided practice, then a fun game to finish. Parents get a quick update after every session on progress and what's next.
