About Inderjeet

My name is Inderjeet, and I am a TEFL-certified tutor based in India with a genuine passion for helping young students grow in confidence and ability. I completed a rigorous 120-hour TEFL certification program, which trained me in professional lesson planning, student assessment, and effective classroom communication — giving me a structured foundation that most tutors at my age simply do not have.

I am currently pursuing my undergraduate degree and have been preparing intensively for online tutoring — studying teaching methodology, practicing structured lesson delivery, and building subject-specific frameworks for every topic I teach. I do not believe in winging it. Every session I deliver is planned, purposeful, and adapted to the individual student in front of me.

I work best with students in Grades 1 to 8 who need a tutor who is calm under pressure, endlessly patient, and genuinely invested in their progress. I understand what it feels like to be confused by a concept that everyone else seems to get — and that empathy drives the way I teach. I never make a student feel embarrassed for not knowing something. My job is to make sure they leave every session knowing something they did not before.

About the lesson

My classes are designed for students in Grades 1 to 8 who need clear, structured, and encouraging academic support in English, Math, Science, EVS, and Social Studies. As a TEFL-certified tutor with fluency in English, I bring a patient and methodical approach to every session.

Every class follows a simple but effective structure: we begin with a quick warm-up to identify where the student currently stands, move into focused concept explanation using a whiteboard with visual examples, and then immediately shift to guided practice where the student works through problems with my support. I never just give answers — I ask questions that help students think independently and arrive at understanding themselves.

For Math and Science, I use real-world examples and a step-by-step method so abstract concepts become concrete and memorable. For English, I focus on building genuine fluency — reading comprehension, grammar in context, and confident communication — not just memorizing rules.

My sessions are especially effective for students who feel behind, are preparing for exams, or simply need a calm and supportive space to ask questions without hesitation. I adapt my pace and explanation style to each individual student, so no two lessons are identical.

Homework help sessions are also available, where I guide students through their assignments using prompting and questioning rather than simply providing solutions.
